Cheer/Tumbling

Cheer/tumbling is a section of Backbeat that is for bettering skills in cheer technique, strength, flexibility, and floor gymnastics. We focus on building the student's confidence in order to obtain their personal and professional goals. We offer tumbling classes based on skill sets with the use of low beams, low bar, trampolines, and the spring floor. For cheer, we prepare students for their try-out season, and will soon be offering a competition team!

Our Classes

Adult Classes

Adult classes are designed for those that are aged 18 years and older. Those that are beginners or experienced are invited to join! Use these classes as a chance to learn something new, begin a fun workout, or revisit a fond past memory. Adult classes are recreational and do not owe registration fees.


Cheer Performance

This is a class that focuses on the performance factors of cheerleading. This includes working on voice projection, sharp motions, creativity, and overall confidence to strengthen the student's cheerleading skills. 

Conditioning & Flexibility

This is a class that focuses on strengthening the physical abilities and flexibility levels of the student. The class will include workouts, tips, stretching, and team bonding. It is important to build the basic muscles for tumbling and performance. These classes are recreational and do not require a registration fee.

Minis Class

These are classes designed for ages 3-6 years for introduction instruction. Each class is organized for a fun and progressive pace that matches the interest of your littles! Minis explore cheer motions, finding cheer voice, and basic tumbling.

Technique

This is a class that focuses on the technical aspects of cheer, including but not limited to motions, jumps, counts, memorization, combos, and leadership. There are different levels offered depending on the students' experience with cheerleading and age.

Tumbling

This is a class for basic floor gymnastics. Classes range by age, but within each class, students are grouped by abilities to be challenged and given individualized attention. In this class, spring floors, mats, beams, and trampolines are utilized to progress students' skills.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are a chance for 30 minutes of complete one-on-one instruction between the leader and the student. These classes are designed by the goals of the student, ensuring that growth is met at an ideal and realistic pace. These classes are recreational and do not owe a registration fee. Private slots are first come-first serve in any of the genres already offered. Ages 5 years +.
